Cold Stone Creamery is a franchise business with locations nationally, both in commerce centers and standalone. They also have delivery, off-site events, and food truck options. They needed a solution that could improve their presence in the community
Cold Stone Creamery Client owned multiple locations but had one location struggling after a previous owner’s mismanagement. The reputation of the store was hindering sales and employee acquisition.
Our team coordinated a Public Relations campaign including local media and paid ads on Social Media to introduce the new owner. The messaging focused on the changes that have taken place to improve the customer experience.
We also planned a grassroots campaign over an entire summer to provide ice cream to outdoor community pools/parks and recreation centers with incentives to return to the store.
Lastly, we developed opportunities with local recreation leagues, scouting organizations, and clubs to provide opportunities for ongoing relationships and sales.
The one year plan and implementation tactics resulted in a full, well-trained staff. One year later, they have an 85% retention rate. Sales/Revenue increased to the target goal of 2 million per year at that location. Furthermore, the owner then attained an additional location!
