Scenario

Honest Tom’s Auto Care is a locally-owned auto repair shop that originally housed two separate businesses: a Grease Monkey franchise and a complete auto repair shop. The owner’s goal was to fully own the business.

Issue

The owner needed to increase revenue in order to purchase out of the franchise and develop an express shop with a full-service shop. He was also looking to expand his business to sell wholesale tires to surrounding shops, all while making sure he was able to continue to give back to his community in a meaningful way.

Solution

Our team created a full-scale advertising campaign. We dove into traditional advertising, public relations, and business development opportunities. As a return, his demographic expanded to a further reach, multiple language customers, tire wholesale, and fleets for commercial companies. We continue to run multiple Public Relations campaigns surrounding giving back to the community, including donating a car to a very worthy young woman and providing FREE oil changes to all healthcare workers for a month.

Result

Honest Tom’s has bought out of his franchise and owns two shops. He developed a tire division that sells wholesale and retail. Through increased revenue, he has continued to meet his sales goals for the past 9 years.
