Shannon began her event management and direction with the Ohio Army National Guard’s Family Programs in 2003. Here is where she learned how to organize, strategize, document, and budget for any type of event from 10- 3000. The events ranged from meetings and picnics to large-scale fundraisers and military balls.
In 2010 Shannon moved from Ohio to Virginia and continued to expand her experience and skills by branching out into the medical and corporate arena. It is here that she developed marketing experience and accepted roles with large national charitable foundations, aesthetic practices, and various corporations. Within each of the varied events she alone or as part of the team executed webinars, quarterly meetings, trade shows, business conferences, incentive trips, grand openings, open houses, and black-tie galas.
Shannon’s attention to detail and commitment to each event has earned her many accolades over the years, including;
The Ohio Commendation Medal, The Noble Patron Award, various awards and recognition on Corporate levels both nationally and locally, she has been published with the Ohio Army National Guard, and has been Sainted and admitted into The Order of Saint Joan of Arc. Her recognition reflects the pride she takes in making sure each of her events is a success.
In her free time, you can find Shannon hosting dinner parties of her own. She loves to cook and find any reason to bring her family together. If she isn’t at home in the kitchen you can find her enjoying the beach and during college football cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes!
